The Photographer

Article text
Also known for his local landscape photography, Tom is happy to photograph pretty much anything, with recent jobs including archival work for the Really Useful Theatre group, advertising shots for a local window firm and several ‘people’ portraits for local clients.

Born and raised in Brixham in Devon, Tom worked in the IT industry for twenty or so years. This work took him from Devon to New Zealand and back again, before making a move to the London area, where he worked for an international courier company. This work provided him with opportunity to travel extensively throughout the world.

Now based back in Brixham, Tom has been running his own photography business for over three years, with a retail gallery and picture framing workshop in Brixham's Middle Street; just a stone's throw from the picturesque harbour that features in many of his landscape photographs.

Tom's photographs have been used by the London Wildlife Trust, Richmond Council and the Richmond Environment Network, as well as several businesses and individuals local to Brixham.

His photographs are used every month in the Focus on Brixham article printed every month in the Herald Express.

Tom uses Canon digital SLR cameras, with both Canon and Sigma lenses.
